Her extreme opposition to fracking is the next part of Kamala Harris’s dangerously liberal record that she is trying to hide from the American people.

Recently, her campaign insisted that she will not ban fracking if elected. That is a lie, and flies in the face of her long record opposing fracking and working to ban it.

Harris’s position is unambiguous:

• During her last campaign for president, Harris said, “there’s no question I’m in favor of banning fracking.”
• She repeated the sentiment, stating unequivocally, “I am committed to…finally putting an end to fracking once and for all.”
• She also cited her time as California’s Attorney General as evidence that she’ll end fracking, and indeed, Kamala Harris sued the Obama Administration for allowing fracking off the California coast.

It doesn’t end there. Kamala Harris has long championed the most socialist and anti-American energy elements of the radical left’s “climate” agenda. Ironically, “climate” is the last thing helped by their agenda’s effort to export our energy supply chain to communist China.

• As senator, Kamala Harris cosponsored the radical $93 trillion Green New Deal with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, which estimates show could kill up to 2 million jobs and cost an average family $165,000.
• In 2017, Harris sponsored legislation to ban offshore drilling.
• In 2020, Harris expressed support for banning plastic straws and a national reduction in red meat consumption.

As vice president, she was an active proponent in the Harris-Biden war on American energy.

• Harris attended the COP28 summit, where she touted an agreement to eliminate fossil fuels.
• Harris supported cancelling the Keystone XL pipeline, which killed 11,000 jobs.
• Harris called the record-high gas prices seen under the Harris-Biden administration the “price to pay for democracy.”

In Kamala Harris’s words, “there’s no question [she’s] in favor of banning fracking.”  That’s evidenced not just by her words, but by her actions, which have increased prices, threatened our energy security, and hurt the environment by making the U.S. reliant on foreign energy producers.

Is there a lie Kamala Harris won’t tell? Evidently not.
